Going green has never been more mainstream than it is right now. Conversations about how human beings impact our environment – and how we can reduce that impact – are getting louder all the time, from working out how to feed the population as our climate gets hotter, to skyrocketing energy bills, or citizen scientists counting butterflies up and down the country.
Many of our clients have so much to contribute when it comes to looking after our planet. Recycling is a way of life at our Flower Pod centres. And the new Reach accommodation in Southwell will give the residents there a real stake in how we can live more sustainably. This Green Citizens project is about enabling people to take part in conversations about a greener future.
With this in mind, this space will be a diary for our Green Citizens, where they can share their experiences, ideas and challenges.
